Writing software is also a complicated process, but at a mechanical level it comes down to two things: changing the code and changing how it interacts with other code.
In this talk, we’ll explore how far we can push this analogy, and what we can learn about our craft and ourselves while we do it.

Mikayla is a software engineer at Zed, where she works on building a realtime collaborative code editor.
In her free time, she bakes, daydreams about how to build a decentralized internet, and watches classic films in exchange for introducing her girlfriend to the superhero movies she truly loves.
